Stormwater Events:
Storm drain marking reminds citizens not to allow pollutants into the storm drains. This activity consists of affixing plastic markers with a “No Dumping-Keep Our
Water Clean” message to storm drain inlets or curbs. The marking efforts
will focus on older and problematic parts of the city.

Stream cleanup projects are a great way to improve aquatic habitat, water quality, and aesthetics while promoting stormwater awareness. Specific sites will be selected based on impact by trash, especially those areas with heavy pedestrian and vehicular traffic for optimum aesthetic improvement. All Groups such as civic clubs, schools, scouting organizations, etc., are welcome to participate
in either or both events.
